Safety and Wellbeing in the Wandl
We sincerely hope that you and your loved ones are doing well in these turbulent times, and are very happy to inform you that the entire Wandl team is fit and cannot wait to see you again soon.
The Covid-19 epidemic has changed our everyday life and we all have to get used to this new situation. We are, however, pleased that a certain sense of normality is slowly returning to our everyday life.
For many of us, traveling is an important aspect of our life and unfortunately in these uncertain days it can no longer be taken for granted. That is why it is all the more important that you feel safe during your stay at the Wandl and that we continue to offer you the highest possible levels of comfort.
Your safety and that of our employees is our top priority. We are therefore - just like before Covid19 - doing our very best to offer you a safe and enjoyable stay at the Wandl and would like to inform you about our new hygiene and safety concepts.
In light of the current situation, we have expanded our already high standards to include essential work processes / procedures and adapted them to the measures specified by the government.
Employees receive regular training on important hygiene measures and safe guest interaction. Please feel free to ask them any questions you may have. Our team takes part on regular COVID-tests.
Employees wear mouth-nose protection in public areas, rest assured that we are smiling behind the mask as well.
We kindly request that our guests also wear mouth and nose protection in public areas. If you don't have a mask with you, don't worry! We will be happy to provide disposable masks for you at the reception.
Disinfectant Stations are available in the meeting areas. We have ensured that a safe distance is maintained. Furthermore, a Plexiglass wall has been installed at the reception.
We have adapted our already flexible rebooking and cancellation conditions to help fit your needs.
Have you booked a non-cancellable rate? Don't worry, your money will not be lost. Guests may instead rebook for free. If you do not have a new travel date, we will gladly provide you with a voucher, redeemable within 30 years.
Our breakfast schedule has been adapted and we are happy to serve a la carte breakfast, temporarily, to your room. More information is available at the check-in.
The Fitness room is now cleaned regularly, in short intervals to further guarantee your health and safety. Due to government regulations, only 1 guest may be in the fitness room at a time.
Hygiene in the room
The pre-existing and precarious cleaning plans have been expanded and adapted to include new hygiene guidelines in accordance with our government's prescribed measures.
Rooms are cleaned daily and all points of contact such as light switches, remote controls, key cards, elevator buttons and door handles are disinfected at short intervals.
Rooms are not rented to guests for at least one day after departure to help ensure that there is sufficient fresh air.
Are you missing one or two little things in your room, such as your bathrobe? These have been temporarily removed to prevent any possible transmission of Covid-19. Please do not hesitate to ask us for any necessities, we will gladly provide them to you upon request.
During your stay your room will be cleaned in close consultation with you so as to further minimise contact.
Finally, we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your loyalty and trust. We have received many telephone calls and messages from our beloved regulars and we are very proud of this personal, special bond with our guests.
