Hotel Wandl is beautiful! A perfect location to explore Vienna.

Me and my friends are absolutely satisfied with our stay. The location was perfect. The breakfast was wonderful. The staff was very polite and helpful. The rooms and the hotel was clean and very nice decorated. Everything was perfect. Highly recommended. Value for money. On our next trip to Vienna we will definitely stay at the same hotel.

Staff was exceptionally helpful. The hotel was incredibly clean the dining room and breakfast were where we expected. It was a lovely day. I think that’s the right word for it. It was lovely thank you so much. We will return the question.

The hotel was more beautiful in real life than pictures on the internet show. It centrally located and seemed to be within 15 minutes walking distance to most attractions. Public transportation was in proximity if you wanted to travel outside the city center. The included breakfast was excellent. The rooms were very well appointed and beds comfortable. Last but certainly not least, the hotel staff were incredible. It is the people that really make the difference. My wife and I had a fantastic stay.

The location of the hotel was AUSGEZEICHNET! All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and cleaned up every day. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. When next I am in Vienna, this will be hotel I shall choose to stay. Vielen Dank!

A very good room, excelent breakfast and a nice and considerate staff.

We enjoyed a very comfortable stay at Hotel Wandl. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is warm and snugggly. It was so nice coming into the hotel lobby after visiting the Christmas Markets and feeling the warmth and seeing the smiling front desk clerks! The hotel was quiet but right in the middle of the action! Linens and lotions are quite nice. We will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful 4 night stay in November with 3 other couples...everyone had a superior room which was spacious and nicely decorated with a small balcony (our only constructive criticism is all rooms too warm and we could not control temperature). All the staff were friendly and helpful with a special mention to barman Tseering. The hotel is well placed in District 1 with plenty of choice for restaurants and bars and most attractions within 15/20 mts walk. Lovely continental breakfast with hot choices also We would definitely stay again and recommend

We stayed at the Hotel Wandl for 4 nights and loved it. The location was easy walking distance from the underground and the cathedral. The room was spacious, the breakfast delicious and the staff friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend the Hotel Wandl for a stay in Vienna

We stayed at Hotel Wandl for 3 nights in October 2025 and were extremely pleased with the location, check-in/check-out process, pleasant staff, and breakfast. Rooms were comfortable and clean. There was a variety of food options at breakfast with something for everyone. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Vienna.

Everything was perfect. Loved our stay at Hotel Wandl. Every staff member was very courteous and friendly and professional. Hotel facilities were very clean and the breakfast was great. The location was absolutely amazing, so close to everything but also very quiet. We were sad to have to leave. Definitely would recommend staying here and would be our first choice when we return to Vienna

Hotel Wandl has been my home away from home on multiple visits to Vienna since 2000. Convenient, comfortable, clean (extremely!), friendly, and well-run, I couldn’t ask for more. Throughout these 25 years, it has been comforting to return knowing exactly what to expect and not being disappointed. I will be back again and again.

This hotel centrally located in Vienna is highly recommendable. We stayed at your charming hotel for three nights, and we were absolutely pleased with the hotel and the location close to "everything" downtown Vienna. The rooms were spacious, welcoming and offered anything needed. The breakfast was also very good. Hopefully we can stay at your hotel again, if/when we come back to Vienna.

Career business traveler and I’m picky but not obnoxious (at least I hope I’m not) about accommodations, both business and personal. Hotel Wandl is spectacular. Right in the heart of Vienna and adjacent to the Graben (pedestrian area) so location couldn’t be better. Polished, classy lobby greets you on arrival without being pretentious. Rooms are as good as the lobby which is a rarity if you do much travel. Gorgeous room with a/c and nice, equipped bathroom. Water pressure exceptional. Dimensions of our room were generous, even by American standards with a little settee and table at foot of bed. Breakfast was terrific with everything one could ask for including hot items like eggs (even a water bath to cook your own), bacon, sausage, along with the usual European offering of many breads, cakes, cheeses and cold cuts, yogurt, etc. Honestly I would never consider staying anywhere else upon returning. Parking is off site of course because the hotel is in the old town but the garage isn’t more than a 10-15 minute easy flat walk. One of my favorite hotels of all time and the real authority, the wife, wholeheartedly agrees.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Wandl. The staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel lobby, breakfast room, and bedrooms were spotless. Our room was very comfortable with large shower and sofa bed. Enjoyed breakfast every morning, there was always plenty of choice. Would definately book this hotel again when coming back to visit Vienna
